Asian Heritage Fest

We hosted our very first cultural booth at the Asian Heritage Fest, displaying a variety of foods, clothing, art, and games!

Naperville City Council Proclamation

We received a proclamation from the Naperville City Council in honor of the contribution of Asian organizations, and the declaration of May as AAPI Heritage Month. We spoke in front of the council about health disparities in the Asian American community and pushed for greater action to address gaps in cancer screenings as a part of our Dear Mom and Dad Initiative.

AMEC 13th Annual US Congressional Awards Gala

We organized 20 volunteers for the 13th Annual US Congressional Awards Gala, serving as presenters for the show, setting and cleaning up the banquet hall, escorting VIP guests, and overall helping to make sure the event was a success!

KidsMatter Games From Around the World

We represented China at the KidsMatter Games from Around the World during the Park District Kite Fly. We hosted activities including Chinese yoyo, jianzi, chopstick pick-up, calligraphy, papercutting, badminton, and spinning handkerchiefs for children and families to not only learn more about but also experience Chinese culture!
